We are glad you stopped by, and I hope this will help you become better acquainted with us. As the pastor of Heritage Baptist Church, I would like to personally extend an invitation to visit our church. We are a warm, friendly, rural church, located in Milford, NS, with a heart focus to glorify and honor our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. Our desire is to build families by the Bible. To accomplish this, we believe that we must systematically preach, teach, and obey the commands and principles taught in God’s Word. The joy, strength, and freedom of any nation, society, or family pivots on these very truths.

Visit A Service

We believe that you should be able to meet God at church, so our services are filled with stirring congregational singing, uplifting music from our choir and orchestra, and biblical preaching by Pastor Robbie Milburn. You will find his messages to practical, Christ-centred, and challenging. Childcare is available for ages 0-3 during all services.

What Should I Expect?

We love having guests at Heritage Baptist, so be prepared to be greeted by our church family! You will find our people friendly, welcoming, and ready to do their best to make you feel at home.

- Expect A Helpful Message

We believe God’s Word should be at the centre of all we do. If you are able, bring your Bible. Pastor Milburn’s preaching will be straightforward and aimed at the heart. You can be confident that you will leave with something to take home and implement in your life this week!

- Expect An Invitation to Return

This may be your first time coming to Heritage Baptist, but we certainly hope that it won’t be your last. Don’t be surprised if someone encourages you to come again or invites you to another gathering. We want you to join us any time you are able.


Other FAQ’s

  • There is not a dress code at Heritage Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress. However, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Heritage Baptist Church!

  • No. Though you are welcome to participate if you would like to, we don’t invite you to Heritage Baptist Church for your offering. We simply want to be a blessing to you and hope that you will find Heritage Baptist to be a place where you can develop a deep and personal relationship with God in a warm family atmosphere. Please don’t feel obligated in any way to participate in the offering as a guest.

  • Sunday Morning and Evening services are typically about an hour and twenty minutes. Wednesday Evening services are generally about an hour long followed by a time of prayer.
